IBD Pain Management?

Does anyone have a pain management plan for their DC that works? We are in A&E for unimaginable pain in DD12 belly and unable to pass anything. It’s been building for the last few days but have tired to manage it with everything we have at home. Nothing helped to make her pass a motion. Any help or trips would be much appreciated x

Do you not have fast access to an IBD nurse team?

We do but not out of hours. I spoke to them yesterday and have an appointment on Friday with them but it’s become to much overnight for her 🙃

Oh my.
I feel for you both, it’s a bastard of a disease.
Thankfully the IBD teams are bloody AWSOME and with them on your side, the flares will decrease and be easier to manage.

She has been in flare pretty much since diagnosis in October with the odd few weeks of restbite. She's had Fentynl this morning which worked for a few hours but the pain is sadly back again
