Am I worrying over nothing here, is this my anxiety.
Took my 12 year old dd to the dentist never had a dental x-ray before apart from one when she had an accident only of her front two teeth.

I took her to the dentist yesterday for an x-ray to see why her primary molars hadn't fallen out and they did the x-ray and said she has all her adult teeth and that they aren't baby teeth. I'm almost 100 percent sure she didn't lose any molars but the dentist was sure after the x-ray that they were her permanent teeth.
Hopefully there is a dentist out there that can also confirm if they can tell from an x-ray of it's a permanent tooth and that she isn't just missing her adult teeth?!

I would have thought a dentist could tell from the size and shape of them that they’re adult teeth. Is it possible the teeth fell out at school and she didn’t tell you?

Yeah my son once ate one of his baby teeth with a sausage roll . I do find (2 kids) that when they're older and more independent they just throw them away and carry on with what they were doing .

The baby tooth molars are replaced by adult premolars and the very back teeth come through without replacing any baby teeth at all. The first adult molar comes through at 6 behind the baby tooth , these may be the ones you are worried about, they are not supposed to come out.

Which teeth do you mean? Do you think she’s only lost the front six at the top and bottom?
