What type of birth mark is this?

DD has has it since birth. I thought perhaps a port wine stain as it's a pink colour but I think I had assumed port wine stains were larger? I thought maybe cafe au lait but not sure the colour is right. Any insights?

Hi, my daughter has this on the side of her face, she started getting that sort of mark when she was 6 months old, it has grew bigger thou as she's got older, the doctor told me it's a cafe du lait mark, they are quite common but can be a sign of a condition called neurofibromatosis type 1, if there is more than 6 of these marks on their body, my daughter has one and has been harmless shes 14 now, id still take your child to your doctors for peace of mind, hope that helps.
