Hi, my 7 month old has had a cough going on 4 weeks now (accompanied with a snotty nose). We have been docs and they have assured me that her chest etc is fine but does anyone have any remedies that have helped their little one? She is coughing a lot in her sleep bless her and can tell she’s getting frustrated by it but unsure of what would help! (We are giving her saline drops for her nose which are helping.)
TIA

We used to put a bowl of warm water near the radiator to humidify the room a bit as bedrooms can get very dry air this time of year with central heating on which can irritate coughs.

Mine used to have croup loads, we did stuff like put a damp towel over the radiator overnight, a bit of humidity helped.
Make sure the window was opened every day, the combination of double glazing and central heating is an airborne bug breeding paradise imho.
Fresh air circulating daily in the room is good.

There is little else for a tiny baby, really reassuring that chest is clear.
