Hi, what are peoples thoughts on magnesium gummies? I’ve read up a lot about how they help children relax and have a better sleep, has anyone tried these? If so, did it help? I know they have other benefits which is great. I have 3 boys aged 12,8 and 2.5 years old. Any response would be very much appreciated thank you in advance

My DD4 takes magnesium bisglycinate (magnesium comes in a few different forms I believe) to support her lung condition/immune system. We use one from mighty kids which is a mango flavoured syrup. We've never given it neat but mix it into drinks which she's happy with. Honestly I've seen no impact on her sleep but we also have all sorts going on. I don't know about the cost of the gummies but the mighty kids is really quite expensive (bottle is £22 and lasts just over a month. Hope that helps at all xx

MNHQ hid my reply as soon as I sent it - no idea why! It basically just said we use a mighty kids magnesium supplement as part of a larger picture of supplements but I can't say I've seen any difference in sleep or mood. It is however very easy to hide in a drink or smoothie as it is a liquid.

Thank you for your reply. Like I say I’ve done a lot of reading up about benefits in general, was just curious if anyone on here had use them

We use them with our 9 and 6 year old. They have completely transformed my DS’s sleep.

He used to lie awake for hours trying to get to sleep and now he doesn’t. My mother has since bought the same kids gummies because she’s found that when she has one she sleeps better after it.

Thank you your reply I really appreciate the feed back. Can I ask what gummies you use and where did you buy them from? X
