Calpol left in car?

So I've just realised I'd left 2 large calpol bottles in the car for the last couple of weeks. With temps like they are in uk would these still be okay to use or think it's best to throw?

of course fine. of course

NoKateMoss · 08/01/2024 15:49

I've got nothing to base this on but I think it would be fine. I'd worry more about heat.

idontlikealdi · 08/01/2024 15:49

Why would it not be?

Traumdeuter · 08/01/2024 15:49

It will be fine. It gets way colder in supermarket warehouses.

DinosaurOfFire · 08/01/2024 15:49

It wouldn't cross my mind not to use them- calpol lives in the cupboard even when open so in my mind its fine at all temperatures. It's not like an antibiotic that needs to be kept in the fridge.

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 08/01/2024 15:49

Wouldn't even occur to me it could be an issue! It's a cool dry place, isn't that what the storage recommends?

Clearinguptheclutter · 08/01/2024 15:50

Def fine

What do you think happens in the supply chain? Sat in a box on a pallet in a depo, then days on the lorry, to go into a warehouse again, before it hits the shelves at Boots or wherever. It’ll be fine!

SaltyGod · 08/01/2024 16:25

Absolutely fine. We permanently keep Calpol in the car for emergencies without any worries
