Blackhead treatment - 9-year-old

Hi
DD has developed 6 deep blackheads around her nose (mainly under her nostrils. GP suggested gentle regular exfoliation but that’s not helped at all. Is salicylic acid ok to use on children? Would it help? Any other remedies we could try other than squeezing (which is not really advised)?

I would definitely squeeze them. Only way to get them out isn't it? My 13 year old DS gets them and I always extract once ready.
