My ds (7) completed a 7 day course of antibiotics for tonsillitis yesterday. He's recovered well. Tonight on going to bed he complained of feeling cold. I took his temperature out of curiosity and it was 38.1. I have calpol and it went up to 38.8.
Is it possible for infection to still be lingering or more likely that this is viral? His throat os clear and he's been his usual happy self.
