Growing pains 3 year old

Hi all,
My DS is 3 yrs and 3 mths old and for the last 4 nights has woken up screaming in pain every hour or every few hours. We believe he is experiencing growing pains as he is 100% fine during the day and has no recollection of the night screaming.
my question is if anyone else child has severe screaming in pain with growing pains or maybe it is something else that we are missing
thanks in advance

Could it be night terrors? Especially if they can't remember afterwards.

Our 3 year old woke screaming after iron supplements (prescribed). We realised it was giving him heartburn. Mentioning in case this is a possibility.

Is he definitely in pain? Does he tell you he's in pain?
I agree with previous poster that it could be night terrors. My DS suffered with these around the same age and would wake up screaming (like he was being murdered). You couldn't engage with him or console him during them and come the morning he had no recollection of any of it.

Thanks all, when he wakens he does say he is sore/cold in his belly which I’m not sure means he has pain there as I have checked during the day and he has no pain there.
possibly could be night terrors as u say as when we bring him into mammy and daddy’s bed he seems more settled.
it is very hard to know as he was such a good sleeper before this, I know we were very blessed!

My son has growing pains but in his legs and sometimes arms. I give him calpol and a cuddly toy that you warm up in the microwave and that normally works for him. I hope you find something that works for your little one.
