DD was sick on Sunday 10 days ago. She was sick just the once and her appetite resumed the next day but she complained of a sore tummy for another couple of days. She then had a couple of weird whitish sticky poos (almost looked like sudocream!).
A whole week later DS skipped dinner and asked for the sick bowl. He looked very pale and nauseous but didn't actually throw up. The next day he had one episode of diarrhea and now just has these awful smelling burps (they smell like rotten eggs) but is otherwise perfectly fine and full of energy (though still not eating).
Is this just a weird sickness bug or should I be worrying about some sort of food poisoning or other infection with those timelines?
I've only ever known sickness bugs to come on very suddenly, stop after 12 hours and pass on to the next person within a couple of days. This has been going on for weeks!
