How to manage my cold sore so that I don’t pass on to my toddler!!!

hello, just wondering if anyone out there has any tips to prevent passing on cold sores to your little ones! I have a one year old and am so paranoid on him catching them from me. As a baby I would wear a mask when breast feeding. I’m just now worried as he’s moving so much more now, arms and hands everywhere, I do wear a mask if I’m carrying him which is so tedious (mask on & off all the time) obviously I would wash his hands if he swiped my face & off course I do NOT kiss him. Just putting this out there… does anyone else feel the same…? Thank you : )

I suffer with them regularly and I use the cold sore patches when I’m around my toddler. I can blend it with makeup so you can’t see it and it gives me a barrier.

Thank you - yes I do need to try the patches. I have used a plaster before as a barrier (obviously I look ridiculous) but would rather that than him to touch it!
