I've honestly never seen her so poorly. It's been terrifying. She's had 2 days worth of antibiotics and seems to be slowly picking up now but my horrible anxiety is telling me something bad is going to happen to her 😭

She's only ever had a couple of colds in her life so this is complete new territory for us! Not even sure why I'm posting, just for a hand hold I guess

My son had SF at 4 too. Once the antibiotics kicked in he was soon as right as rain. I really don't think you need to worry too much - but of course trust your instincts and take her back it if there are new or worsening symptoms.

Really hope she's better very soon - it's horrid when they're ill.

She should be fine. You’ve acted quickly. The OoH doctor nearly missed it with my DD but gave her antibiotics and steroids when she saw her tongue. When the steroids stopped we realised she was allergic to the antibiotics. 😵‍💫

when she eventually got chicken pox she was allergic to the virus as well as infected by it. She had a rash on a rash - that was fun.

She’ll be ok as
shes on antibiotics 👍my dd has had it 4 times and the key is catching it in time which you have. You should see a good difference in next 24 hours xx

If you have a gut feeling then trust it. If there is anything you are not sure about get her seen again. Don't wait and see x
