Any ideas what this is?

I'm a bit worried. DS11 months old. He has these red patches which are hot to the touch at the top of both of his arms.

I noticed yesterday but thought it was because of grappling to get his vest off. But now I don't think it's that as it's there tonight too and now I've realised they're hot.

Fine in himself apart from a bad cold. He has a viral rash which GP can't be sure isn't scarlet fever and is on antibiotics.

Everything I see online suggests cellulitis?! But on both arms? No break to the skin at all. Please help with any ideas!

Forgot to say, if it was the height of summer I'd be convinced it was sunburn. It literally looks like he's been in the sun with no cream on. That's exactly what it looks like.

Have you done a glass test?

I would be phoning 111 for advice pronto.

I would call 111 or go to A&E, personally, as he’s so little. I had this on my leg and was given antibiotics as initially they thought I had cellulitis but it turned out it was an infection following a bite.

It's not an actual rash. It's just like sunburn. However when pressed, the area did go white.
