Worms in the class. Help!

NewMeNewUs · 09/12/2023 06:36

we’ve had confirmed cases of worms in my children’s classes.

I’ve never dealt with worms before. We have no symptoms, but I’m thinking of treating anyway.

is there any point in taking the medicine if no symptoms ?
any advice appreciated. Thanks

Go to a pharmacy to get the latest information for your children but if worming is advised you should buy some to have on hand in case the worms strike in the middle of the night.

Good advice above as in the middle of the night is when you need it.

Also make sure you are all washing your hands with soap and water before every meal and avoid putting fingers in your mouth.

I would have some treatment ready.
Hand- washing is important.
But don't panic, threadworms and nits once or twice are pretty standard parts of having children, for many parents.
