What are you concerned about? Normal bf baby poo at that age should be quite soft, almost runny and yellow-ish in colour. It can be quite grainy. It doesn’t really smell, sort of like natural yogurt.

Also v normal for exclusively bf babies to go days in between poos, Dd was on a 7 day schedule where she’d have an almighty poo-explosion, usually when I’d nipped out without the changing bag, or in the middle of the library when it was silent 😂

MissImpatient2019 · 06/12/2023 20:38

Was supposed to upload the images😂 it used to be grainy but it’s changed to this

3 ebf DC here and that looks well within "normal" to me.

If I remember correctly mine went to 10-14 day pooing intervals around 8 weeks which led to some spectacular* events

MissImpatient2019 · 06/12/2023 21:02

Ahh good thankyous! She’s defo pooing less often but when she goes, she goes!😂

Perfectly normal. I always smelt quite sweet to me too. After about 6 weeks the frequency dropped too.

Normal. I can’t look at Thai Yellow Curry sauce the same way now.

callainblue · 06/12/2023 21:06

Midwife here - normal!

Ostryga · 06/12/2023 22:02

Oh that’s exactly what it’s meant to look like! You’re doing great, no need to worry now.

Hey, my baby is just over four months and breastfed only. He poo used to be a little bit grainy but suddenly her poo has changed and become very watery. Colour is the same as before, not mucusy or anything just very wet! Is this normal? (Nappy photo warning!)
