Look up an account called Sick Happens on Instagram. She has videos showing what respiratory distress looks like. Is that what it looks like for your son?

Film your son's breathing when it looks worrying so you can show that to doctors.

But otherwise is your son otherwise fine, growing well etc? Has he been sick recently that would affect his breathing?

Hi there,
This is exactly my 18 day daughter. Her breathing is over 60 pm. We went to the GP yesterday who sent us up the hospital. They witnessed the breathing and did scans and xrays. Heart and lungs all ok. She doesn't appear to be in any distress and they have ruled out an infection as shd is feeding, and filling her nappy. She isn't like it all of the time but I would say 90%. I am just so worried. They discharged us but it's not right and I am not too happy about it. Have you noticed any pattern at all? ie sleeping to awake or led flat or cradled etc. It seems to be constant for us.

It's such a worrying tome but you've had several doctors saying he's ok so I would try to relax and enjoy your baby. I remember one of mine would do similar if he didn't get attention fast enough then his little tongue would come out and he would start a very dramatic coughing 😅. He was perfectly healthy, just a little overdramatic.
