Growing pains?

DC 8 is suffering with pain in her legs, ankles and sometimes hips & wrists, it happens mostly in the nights but very occasionally during the day.
Could this be growing pains?
she has been unwell on and off since September with viral illnesses

Anyone have any advice?

Apparently growing pains aren't supposed to exist or so I read but my DD definitely had what you describe and we put down to growing! She's now 15 and still gets them at times when she's growing which happens less as she gets older and growth has slowed.
We usually gave paracetamol/calpol. It's usually last a few days.

Id push for investigation involving so many joints.
