Can't get painkillers into autistic 9 year old

9 year old ds5 has a really bad sore throat, possibly tonsilitus. Ds3 and ds4 have had it, ds3 is fine now and ds4 is nearly there so ds5 will probably be better in 2 or 3 days. He and ds4 were on the max dose of calpol/Nurofen yesterday (neither of them will take the Tesco own brand stuff but they are ok with Nurofen and will tolerate calpol) but today ds5 has declared that both are "yucky" and won't take either. He also won't eat anything because his throat hurts. Is there any nicer tasting painkillers available?

Could you potentially put it in a milkshake or flavoured drink?

Or some ice cream which may help his throat? Or mix it up with some fruit/yoghurt:fruit juice and freeze in a lolly mould for him to eat tomorrow?
