Husband keeps kissing newborn when he has a cold

DH keeps kissing our 3 day olds face when he’s literally got a sore throat and a cough. It’s really starting to wind me up, am I being over the top for not allowing this??

No I wouldn’t be too happy, it’s a bit unnecessary. I don’t think anyone should kiss a really young baby’s face anyway just in case they have the cold sore virus which can be really dangerous to new babies.

We used to just kiss the top of DS head when he was tiny.

@DuploTrain thank you! I’m glad someone agrees. He’s really starting to aggravate me. I know sometimes colds can’t be avoided but DC is literally 3 days old and I don’t want him kissing her face.
