Sorry the caption doesn't sound very inviting! Ha! But I took my son for his 12 week jabs today and i mentioned to the nurse how my sons poo has been like water I would say for the past month, she asked me to message my health visitor! So I have but thought I'd come on here too, is this normal? Would it be from his last Jabs at 8 weeks? I'm not sure what consistency should be at his age!

Thank you x

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I can't tell you what is normal at that age but my daughters were liquid and the consistency of a smoothie and shiny with mucus. This was due to food allergies. She didn't reach normal poos until about 11months!

@Superscientist ok thank you - yes his are more like brown water! Hopefully normal! I'm still awaiting health visitor to write back! Thank you xx

Came to say the same about allergies.

At that age I’d be looking for more mushy / seedy stools not liquid . If your BF they can be slightly more runny but again shouldn’t be liquid x

Take a picture and post it. A lot of us are mothers on here and have analysed our baby's poo before x

Oh really! Panicked now! I may ring health visitor and ask! He's absolutely fine in himself and not unwell! It's always liquid! Thank you xx
