Possible Crohn’s help?

My daughter is just 13 and after a colonoscopy a week and a bit ago they have said it’s most likely Cronh’s just waiting on some more tests to come back.

she’s had lots of tummy pain and constipation on and off for awhile but was told she has IBS. Ever seen having blood in her poo she’s had burning pain in her bum and blood after she wipes. Is there any tips for healing the burning pain on her bum? She’s got very hard and smelly ooo at the moment which I’m sure doesn’t help. Thanks xx

I don't know if they help children/parents but through work I have come across an organisation called Wren who helps people at various points of being diagnosed and living with autoimmune and inflammation based conditions. They offer 6 month chunks of 1 on 1 support and peer support separately. You can have multiple 6 month blocks if you need support later.

My daughter has other conditions so I don't have any specific groups for you but I have found so many different supportive groups on Facebook and WhatsApp groups for my local community.

Vaseline or Eumovate ointment (not the cream, it doesn't stay on) can help with the sore skin. If it's hurting inside, suppositories might help, but best to seek advice from the GP or IBD nurse.

@MujeresLibres thank you I have been using Sudercream and she has Analsol suppositories that help in slow time but the pain and discomfort is horrible for her sadly. We also have a gel after every poo but the area is so raw that burns
