Cold sore?

2.5 year old has had a cold for about a week, really took a dip yesterday with a fever, sleeping a lot, not eating but breastfeeding round the clock. Woke up much brighter today but I’ve noticed this by their lip - does it look like a cold sore?

Could be- could also be start of hand foot and mouth. Look inside the mouth also… not really anything to do about it if it’s just one but if there are several develop in or around the mouth but nowhere else you could get some Aciclovir medication prescribed depending on the severity.

Thank you - I think you could be right about HFM - looks like a few more coming up around the mouth and can see one on hand and a few on arms. Combined with a fever I’m pretty sure.. but will see how it develops overnight.
