My daughter had an accident during PE with another child 1.5 weeks ago at school. She got kneed in the eye and the next day she developed a pretty nasty black eye.
Didn’t get a call from school but the let my mother in law know at pick up.
Anyway it’s pretty much healed now and no side effects. However I’m thinking I should have got it checked out at the time/worried about retinal bleeds.
Would I know if something more serious behind the eye or to her head? she’s 6 years old.
