My 4 year old DD has had severe croup 4 times in 2 years. Each time has required hospital treatment but the last one was the worst yet and required adrenaline. They were even talking about intubating her if she didn't improve.
She is under a ENT doctor anyway and they've decided that she needs a laryngoscopy to see if she has narrowed airways. She also has very enlarged tonsils so they will be removed at the same time.
Has anyone else's child had this procedure or recurrent severe croup?
