Hi everyone – I’m a health information specialist working with Crohn’s & Colitis UK to update their information for parents.

We’re running a survey to understand more about the information and support people need when they have a child with Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis.

If you are a parent or main carer or a child with one of these conditions, I’d be very grateful for a little of your time. The survey link is here: https://forms.office.com/e/KsZZc6QaL2

Thanks so much, and please feel free to ask any questions.

Done!
One thing; it's all about having a child with IBD and at the end you ask their gender (you mean sex of course), and only provide "man" or "woman" (plus other identities). My daughter is a female child, she isn't a woman (yet). Why not just put male/female/ non-binary/ prefer not to say ?

Thanks so much @MumofCrohnie. I'm afraid the 'equality, diversity and inclusion' questions at the end were selected from a set of standardised questions and we weren't able to change the wording. I appreciate that the wording isn't quite right, but hopefully it won't put people off submitting their responses. Thank you again for taking part. Anna

If your child has Crohn's or Colitis, seeking support and accurate information is crucial. The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation offers valuable resources, including educational materials, support groups, and access to healthcare professionals who specialize in these conditions. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for those affected by Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis through research, education, and advocacy. Connecting with the foundation can help you understand your child's condition better, explore treatment options, and find community support. For more information, visit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation's website or contact them directly.
