Strange grazes appearing

Yesterday when I picked up ds 3 from preschool he had a graze on his forehead. They hadn't seen how it happened and he hadn't cried or seemed upset. He is pre verbal and being assessed for autism so can't ask him what happened.
Anyway put it down to just one of those things.
This morning between waking up and taking him to pre school another graze has appeared on his cheek. I was with him all morning and he had no bumps, hasn't been scratching his face or anything it just seemed to appear out of no where!
I've never known anything like this (I have 4 older children) and I've googled but can't find anything that could cause this.
Anyone any ideas of what this could be?
They are very flat grazes and he's not scratching so unlikely to be scabies etc

Hard to tell from the pics but I am wondering if it might be impetigo.

I cam on to say eczema, as DD has a "graze" on her shoulder that's definitely a flare up. One for your GP to diagnose anyway.

impetigo I reckon

Daisypod · 31/10/2023 13:20

Wouldn't impetigo itch a lot though?

That forehead one looks nasty, so I'd say GP regardless.
