Hi my 8 month old baby had hand foot and mouth a month ago, went to doctor to confirm as she was extremely ill with it. I have a 2 year old who has never had it and didn't catch it. It seems like my 8 month old has got hand foot and mouth again though within the space of a month! All the same symptoms with blisters on hands and feet but haven't been to doctor this time. It does seem a lot less severe this time but still poorly (worse than a cold). Again my 2 year old seems fine so far. I have had cold like symptoms this time (really sore throat and bit of a blocked nose) but no blisters so not sure if ive got it mildly or just a cold. I didn't get ill last time but had HFM when i was younger. Im just wondering how common it is for her to get it again so quickly? Its making me worry she has got some issue with her immune system although she hasnt really had even a cold before this. Also i don't understand how my daughter hasn't caught it either time. Thanks for any advice. I get a lot of health anxiety so its been making me worry a lot.
