Hi, FTM mum here and looking for some advise as I’m becoming more and more anxious.

My LB fell 6 weeks ago into his toy unit and bumped his head hard, small cut which we think will scar as it looks like a chunk of skin is missing (using vitamin E and Mederma), we took him straight to A&E as a large goose egg came up.

But now a hard lump remains behind what was the cut and I’m very worried it’s not going to go away. I’ve also noticed that it goes up and down in size.

We have been back to our GP who basically made out I was nuts because it’s not causing him any issues but I’m just not convinced.

Pic included to show what lump is like currently

Thank you

Aw they are such a worry at this age, falling into everything!

I think if he seems ok in himself and the GP has reexamined it then it's not anything to worry about. My son had a big egg to his forehead at a similar age and it took a while for it to completely flatten again.
