We've been to the Dr several times .. started with stick in ear .. they thought possible puncture but was not.. couple weeks later put kinetic sand in kose and ears..they flushed it out but his voice became horse and nose runny.
A week later broke out in hives with vomit 2 nights in a row.. stuffy nose and coughing for a couple days. Ears hurt saying ants eat his ear, I've taken him to Dr several times only to look and say it's allergies.
The Drs have prescribed allergy meds adding on top of one another.. Zyrtec, singular, Flonase and ear drops. Mind you we go to a clinic so we have had multiple Dr look at him.
I think they feel I'm just a crazy mom but my son says his ears hurt, his behavior has become defiant and 5incident reports at school in past 6 weeks along with 3 sent home for fever(which we saw Dr) and could return for 24 .
I think its a combination of previous allergies and possible ADHD /PDH but at 3.5 yrs old it's harder to get clear answers from him.
School has referred us to health solutions where they are observing him and Dr office has referred us to children's hospital but it's a month out.
As a mom, I'm reaching out because if my son loses hearing or it's disease from tick or something and I haven't done all I can to prevent or help it... I feel I'd be failing as him as his sole caretaker.
