Hi all, looking for a little advice.
Over the weekend my daughter had a high temp, a little diarrhoea and was sick once. Due to her being lethargic and not herself I called 111. An appointment was made to go to an out of hours doctor at our local hospital who told us she had a bad throat infection and prescribed some antibiotics.
On Sunday morning I noticed two small red spots on both legs and didn’t think much to it. Come the evening, my daughter had a few around her mouth and the small spot on one of her legs had turned into a big blister. I couldn’t get a GP appointment so asked a pharmacist for their opinion, they said chickenpox. Two days later and she has a handful more spots/blisters but not many. I am a first time mum so haven’t had any experience with chickenpox or HFM. I thought with chickenpox it would spread much faster than what is has, but these seem to appear quick slow. They start off as small red spots, then seem to blister.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
