Wart or verruca on toe?

Friend's son has this going on. Must be driving him bats. Do we think by the dots that it's a verucca?

There is a name attached to the photo op. I don't know if it's your child's or your name but do ask mumsnet to remove it.

Looks like a huge verucca to me. Try the freeze sprays although I must say that banana peel and duct tape removed a very stubborn one on ds toe that the freeze spray had failed to remove.

A vurruca is a wart on the foot and black dots are blood vessels. Because of pressure the wart gets pushed into the foot. Currently getting one treated by podiatrist. I just attended weekly, he puts stuff on to freeze it, let's it eat away for the week and then digs out the dead bit.

Thanks both - yep, found with one of mine that the dark nail varnish thing worked. Reckon on top of a toe is a bit painful!
