My 11 month old had a dilated kidney picked up on a growth scan at 32 weeks. They did the monitoring scan at four weeks after putting him on antibiotics post birth and it looked like it was getting smaller. It stalled at six months and has now at his most recent scan gone up, so 10mm from 8mm.
He’s now scheduled for a Mag3 scan - has anyone had one? Older threads suggest he might be sedated, so any info from anyone would be hugely appreciated!
I’m unsure what may happen from here - it seems to be quite common so wondering if anyone has been on the dilated kidney journey!
