Rash on 7yr old son

He has had this rash for weeks now, started out small, and got bigger. According to GP it is not fungal (ring worm) and is a common rash people get and will go away by itself. Honestly, not convinced. (Spoken to two GPs separately)

The rash is not itchy, restricted to just the torso, and two small patches on temples. Photo is accurate to colour, very pale. Biggest is around 50p size. Any suggestions at what it could be is appreciated.

it does to me as well, but both GPs were convinced it wasn't. I'm tempted to just try the cream from pharmacy.

Could be a type of eczema that is often misdiagnosed as ringworm

@dementedpixie thank you, do you have an idea of the type it could be ? and perhaps what I can do to get rid of it ?

Discoid eczema I think its called. I assume emollients would help
