Anyone with experience with irritable hip

My 7 year old been diagnosed with suspected irritable hip after a viral infection. It has improved after few day but is back again and is even worse. He has seen the doctor again, had some blood tests and X-ray but they say it is still irritable hip and he needs to test. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Hi, just wondering how you get on with this? My 3yo is with suspected irritable hips after tests show nothing else of concern. It started milder but got more intense after a week.
