Hi my 17 year old has never had allergies but during the summer hols her eyes became inflammed and sore she looked like she had two black eyes
we went to the go who gave her mild steroids and told her to take an antihistamine daily
this didn’t clear the problem so back to a different gp who prescribed strong antihistimines & sent photos to a dermatologist who prescribed protopic used twice a week
she can’t use this as it really stings
All the allergy blood tests are normal , she’s in
pain this evening and her eyes are streaming

I think I’ll have to take her to the eye hosp tomorrow as there’s too many lotions and potions and she doesn’t know which to apply
any advice please

she’ll still get free eye tests, so just book an eye exam. GPS don’t really have the equipment to look closely at the eyes.
