My 8 month old has been awful the past few days, she is screaming pretty much all day, won’t sleep, waking up during the night(that stopped very early on) refusing feeds. I’ve checked her gums and I’m not sure if it’s teething, she’s dribbling a lot but she doesn’t have rosey cheeks or a temperature. I don’t want to take her doctors as I feel it could be teething but then I’m worried it’s not☹️

I have no clue what to look for I can see something on her bottom gums but not sure what it is, does this look like teeth may be coming through?

Yes it does. Mine had red spotty cheeks and nasty nappies when they were actually coming through.

Yes probably teeth given she's not got any at 8 months. Cold toys/flannels to chew on, give some calpol if you haven't already. Usually front bottom two pop first, so you don't tend to be able to see them until a line where it breaks the gum. Top two you can see as they move down. Keep an eye and offer feeds regularly.

My son didn't have a temperature with teething

It actually looks like quite a few teeth coming through at once! You'll know within a few days.

It may be teething.

But those gums done look like they're about to erupt any time soon.

I'd say still a few weeks away.

When the tooth was about to come out with mine, it was really obvious, there were huge white swellings just below the gums.
