Is this eczema? Pic included!

Hi all,

My son has had a rash develop on his arm over the last few days. No other symptoms. He is well and full of energy.
Just checked on it this morning and it looks really nasty. After a quick google I'm thinking eczema? Could this be it?
He hasn't suffered from it before so not sure if it's eczema or something we should get checked out by a GP.

That's not eczema

It looks like molluscum contagiosum

Can you take a closer up picture?

It doesn’t look like eczema to me but the spots do look like molluscum. Your local pharmacist should be able to identify.

Thanks all. I've had a look and it does seem like it might be molluscum. Poor lad. I'm going to nip to the pharmacy now and see what they say. For now I've just put some nappy rash cream with a drop of tea tree oil on as I read that may ease the itching.

Just thought I would update having been to the GP. It's not molluscum, it's dermatitis.

Thanks for replying though! I'm just glad to have gotten to the bottom of it as google searches can scare.
