Nausea and sickness

Ds 16 seems to have relatively frequent bouts of nausea and he has been unwell again overnight and actually sick this time. He was sick on his scout camp and sick on holiday. I’d say frequency every few weeks. I wonder if it is food related as yesterday he had a lot of sugar in one go due to a party. I‘m starting to get concerned though. Anyone with medical knowledge know what it could be? It happens more often early morning or overnight. Maybe the sun doesn’t help either. When he does feel sick he won’t eat or drink and I think has a fear of being sick which also doesn’t help. Should we go to the gp? His diet habits are not great and he dislikes fruit and veg
