What’s occurring with DD’s chin?

Teen DD, otherwise clear skin, has an unexplained pattern on her chin.

There is no texture to the marking.

She can’t remember outing her chin in any unusual places.

Any ideas wise mumsnetters?

That's how my teenage acne started

To me they look too uniform and smooth to be spots.

It looks like the pores/hair follicles are irritated. I've had similar from a zip jacket that has a collar. Think it was the little think plastic covering on the material part at the end of the zip

Another vote for irritation from clothing rubbing. My ski jacket does exactly that to my chin if I do it all the way up and don’t pull up my neck warmer.
