My 3 year old woke up with this morning had his usual cup of milk and about 5 minutes after threw up (ALOT), he has been sick throughout the day even after water, but since about 12ish has managed to keep water down, he was last sick at around 2, he’s now telling me he is hungry and wants a banana, I’m not sure if i should try any food yet? 😫

I’d try something dry, like toast/butter first. But if it’s all he will eat, go for it.

Yes.. worse thing is.. he might throw it up again.. but there again could help settle him.
It's not a rich food.
My Grandson had this last week.
He wanted toast after and kept it down.. make sure he take little bites and eats slowly. It will give him some energy.
If no better tomorrow contact GP

That’s what I’m afraid of, I don’t want to make him worse by making him throw up, but he’s quite tearful and insisting he’s hungry so I’m gonna try some toast and see how we get on!, it’s so awful isn’t it 😞 and of course he’s poorly on a bank holiday 😅
