I have a grown up child with JIA. My other child is 8 and I am pretty sure he too has arthritis.

I don't really know what I'm asking.

Hugs for you OP. I have RA and sympathise.
Have you taken them to the GP for tests yet? It may be helpful to get the ball rolling, and then you can plan next steps from there.

I have been in touch with GP practice today. I sent photos of hands and feet across and on the basis of the photos and family history that they are doing a referral today to rheumatology.

It might be a 2 to 3 month wait or given the family history and the photos they might see him sooner.

My daughter has very extensive arthritis and I really thought that would be the end of it.

I feel like I'm reliving her childhood and I have been ignoring the signs for such a long time.

Just feel a bit meh. Her care took over such a huge part of our lives. And I feel bad saying this but I don't know that I have the energy to do it all again.

Fingers crossed they get them in sooner, so treatment can start. Will keep my fingers crossed for you x
