So we live in spain and all dental care is private . Children have their first orthodontist appt between the age of 7-8. My son had his and we've been told he has a posterior crossbite and needs a palate expander fairly soon before he's a teenager and the bone fuses . Google tells me this is all correct, his adult teeth are coming through crocked and quite far back due to his baby teeth not falling out before. I think I can see the crossbite and the fact he doesn't have much room up there. He's a mouth breather and also grinds his teeth. I was just wondering if a dentist in here child have a look a photo of his teeth and confirm a posterior crossbite( being stingy and don't want to pay for a second opinion). In alsmot certain he does have posterior crossbite but just think a dentist agreeing would help my anxiety🙃. Its also costing £1500 so just want to be certain .
Thank you in advance
