My 7 year old stepson has spots on his hands and feet that look exactly like hand foot and mouth. They just appeared last night and he has no other symptoms. He lives with us full time and my partner is working away so I have all the kids myself just now. I called the school and they said to still send him in so I have but I have an 8 week old and a 1 year old at home and I'm worried about them catching it in case it's worse for them. Should I be worrying? Is there anything I can do to stop them catching it now that he has it? His mum only gets supervised contact so him staying with her isn't an option and my family all live 3 1/2 hours away so I don't have anyone to help take any of the kids.
