Hey everyone, so In April 2022 my son (3 at the time) had chicken pox along with his older sister. They both had what I would consider a pretty good dose of them. My sons torso and nappy area was covered in them, & his face, arms etc had scatters of them. I thought we was done with them in this house, all 3 kids have had them and not mildly. Then today my now 4 yr old has woken up with 5 suspicious looking spots, which look just like the start of chicken pox. I’ve looked online and it says this is rare but possible to have a 2nd time, however it only usually happens when the first lot of chicken pox was when the child was under 1yr when they had them, or if they had them very mildly first time around 🤔 My friends Son currently has them, he came out in his spots on Sunday, but we haven’t been around them since the Monday before he came out in spots. I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if so was the 2nd lot as bad as the 1st time around? I hate seeing them so uncomfortable with chicken pox and really hoping if it is them it’s just going to be a couple of spots 🙈 I will try and attach photos of the spots, I’m pretty sure they aren’t any kind of bite as when he’s had an insect bite in the past it’s become very red around the area and quite angry looking and sore. Atm he’s fine in himself, he just says the spots are itchy 😔
