Newborn - potential exposure?

Other half was in the car with two people for two hours today. Those people have been exposed to Covid (family staying with them) and they're going to test in the morning.

Should my other half stay away from our 5 week old or am I overly anxious? They'd already spent an hour with them on their chest before they found out.

I'm an overly anxious FTM, so I'm keen to check in on how what others would do.

I would try and relax about it. Past experience has shown that you pass, pick and experience covid differently. I’m my household we were all sick in 2021 at the same time and only the most vulnerable person my 84 years old granny was spared. Also even if your baby gets it - children are not affected that much. I know many children and newborns who had it and it was just like a cold for them. Try not to worry, I know it’s easier said than done. I hope your husband and baby won’t even get Covid.
