Hi all,
my 15 month old only has 6 teeth so far and is obviously still teething - his top molars are visible under the skin and he’s got the usual teething signs etc.
Last week when I brushed them in the morning his top gum above one of his teeth started to bleed a tiny bit - I put this down to me having to physically hold him down as he hates teeth brushing and him thrashing about so I’d been too hard, mixed in with his gums being sore due to teething. I brushed them for a week and no other bleeding, apart from yesterday evening he started to bleed from his gums again when brushing (again thrashing around etc).
I got myself into a state, booked a doctors and dentist appt. The dentist (IMO) did a pretty shite job and only looked at his bottom gums and decided his gums looked normal so it could be two things - either me brushing too hard or a medical issue and said if it carries on to speak to the GP for tests so I immediately start panicking (I have severe HA and worry about everything so it was really hard for me to hear).
It is literally only when he brushes and not even all the time - has anyone else had this? As I’m struggling to function with the worry. Thank you.
