Finished antibitocs, fever returned? Help

WWYD? Help my
over anxious brain out ☹️☹️
DD7 has been on 10 day course of antibiotics for strep A. Been much better since they kicked in on day 2/3.
yesterday and today she’s been complaining of being cold
and more tired than usual and tonight she’s running a not high but still there fever of 37.7
if It hadn’t been strep A I’d be more
relaxed but my
worry is always invasive group A strep and the fact she’s burning up the day before she finishes the course is making me
nervous ☹️She’s eating and drinking fine, only complaining of being cold and a bit more
sleepy.
is this more likely to be a random virus? Or should I take her in to say I’m worried strep hasn’t gone ☹️

Hi OP... I know this is an old post but I'm having this with my DS at the moment. He had scarlet fever in November. Completed the 10 day course of antibiotics. 19 days later he was back on the same antibiotics for another 10 days. He completed them 2 days ago but he's poorly again. Really tired, fever and a headache.

What was the outcome? I've called the GP but no appointments and they're closed after today until the new year. I've got a feeling that if I took him to the walk in centre I'll be told its viral.
