DD 10 has a pink tooth

Was just checking in her mouth and saw she has a pink tooth?! Is this normal? New tooth coming in above it looks like.

We have a checkup at the end of august but are away next week. I don't know if this needs seeing to this week. She doesn't remember any trauma there nor do I and says it's been pink a while.

Not at all urgent or anything to worry about. The tooth is just becoming very thin and transparent as the roots resorb and it gets ready to fall out. Encourage gentle wiggling of the baby tooth.

Thank you so much @Powerfulpam I ended up calling the dentist but they can't see her as an emergency since she's not in pain. That's a relief to know. It sure looks unusual!
