Spots on face and groin

Does anyone have any idea what this looks like? 7yo dd developed what we think were bites around her groin and upper legs after a day on the beach last Friday (a week ago) . One of them went quite sore, yellow and crusty as she'd been scratching it, so I treated it with savlon and sudocream. However by Monday she had spots on her face too. These I don't think are bites. Took her to the Dr who has given fuscidin cream but after using this for 2 days new spots are continuing to appear on her face. I don't know if she's spreading them around her face because she keeps touching her the them, despite repeatedly being told not to. She says they're uncomfortable and her face is itchy. They seem to come up red then get a white/yellow head then go all crusty and scabby. The bite on her leg that initially looked off is much better than it was and the fuscidin is helping the spots I'm applying it to but new ones are still coming up on her face. Dr has no idea what it is, said to 'watch out for impetigo, but it doesn't look like impetigo'. She's had a cold for weeks on top of this as well and is still full of snot. It's not pox as she's had that. Thought maybe hand foot and mouth but no spots on hands or feet. I'm wondering whether to go back to Dr's and see if I can see a different gp. Her poor face looks so sore. The photo that's not her face is the initial bite on her leg.

Looks like this? If she's had a bad cold then her immune system might well be down.

My son had this some time ago but I've not seen many other kids with it.

Thanks, although I'm not sure it fits with molloscum tbh. My eldest had that when she was little and it was quite different, the spots lasted for nearly a year whereas some of these spots are already clearing up. It's a bit of a mystery!
