I’d go optician first if no pain or discharge.

Optician. Much more clued up about potential issues. And more likely to offer same day appointment

GPs cannot diagnose opthomology issues, they will advise opticians.

Hi Hubby gets this ,Opticians. Pharmacist couldn't help and he had to wait over a week to get an appointment, his was painful and dry. Advise it was blocked tear ducts and to use warm compress over eyes. All better after a few days. Phew. Hope you get better soon OP

@Bogartysmack79 its actually my child not me. Does your dh get on eyeball or on eyelid? I might start warm compresses as probably can’t hurt

Hope you child gets seen to soon yeah hubby gets this on his eyeball. He's a contact lense wearer and gets dry eyes too. It's great when you get the support from the right optician

Boots opticians has an agreement with the NHS and will see you on the same day for non standard eye issues.

No he can’t do. The blockage will be in the duct opening on the lids.

OP - post a photo and I’ll have a look.
